The boys basketball team hosted Weatherly tonight and lead wire to wire to win the home opener 43-31.  The Rangers started slow scoring only 16 point at the half.  The team hit their stride in the second half scoring 27 points.  Jesse Tarnowski lead the scoring with 12 points, Mitchell Mazonkey and Sam Saxe both had 9 points on the night, as Jaxson Yaple and  Tyler Stevens combined for 12 points.  On the the night the Rangers knocked down 6 three point shots and went 7/12 from the free throw line.  Coach Babcock said I'm proud of the guys.  With all the changes around them no one was quite sure what to expect.  They played aggressively and led wire to wire which is difficult to do.  We will use this game as a benchmark of where we started to turn this thing around.  Good job Rangers.
