The Northwest Rangers won the District 2 Class 2A Championship on Monday, May 30 at PNC Field in Moosic with a score of 2-1 over Hanover. Andrew Boberick scored the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning. Doug Campbell had a RBI single in the bottom of the first inning to put the Rangers ahead 1-0. Starting pitcher Brian Hardiman put in 7 innings before being relieved by Reese Godfrey.
