The Northwest Junior High softball team suffered its first loss to Meyers, by a score of 7 to 5. A good offensive performance of 9 hits could not overcome the mental and physical miscues. Highlights for the offense were the two hits each for Brystal Hardiman, Emily Culver and Laura Muntz. Brystal Hardiman hit her first home run of the season with a solo shot to left field.

Aleigha Parnell scattered 6 hits, with 11 strikeouts in a good pitching effort for the Rangers.

It was the team’s first away game. Next up is Holy Redeemer this Friday at home.
