After a scary first two innings, the Junior High softball team settled down and played a really good game in a 7 to 2 win over Lake Lehman.  The highlight of the game was in the bottom of the 6th inning when the number 8 and 9 batters reached base on errors, and the next 5 batters had hits.  That rally brought in 4 runs and sealed Lake Lehman's fate.

The team had a total of 11 hits with Brystal Hardiman contributing a team high 3 hits, and Aleigha Parnell with 2 extra base hits.  Sydney Kline, Aleigha Parnell and Cassidy Gray each had 2 runs batted in.

The Lake Lehman offense was held to just 3 hits and one earned run.  Winning pitcher Aleigha Parnell had 13 strikeouts.  Emily Culver was responsible for the defensive highlights of the game when she snagged 2 hot line drives from her shortstop position.

The next game for the Junior High Lady Rangers is Tuesday, when both the Varsity and the Junior High teams take on Meyers High School at Meyers.
